I am generally interested in understanding complex systems in terms of broadly applicable yet powerful governing rules, patterns, and concepts. I am currently working on applying statistcal mechanics to problems in active matter fluid dynamics as well as the critical brain hypothesis. I am looking to explore problems in economics/finance, biology, and oceanography in the time to come.
I record my thoughts in personal essays, which can be about just anything and everything. I also write about academic subjects and try to turn their developments into meaningful narratives, which is rather lacking in the academic community. To get to know me, please check out my collection of essays here. If you are not sure what to read, start with Mind and Hand and Why Are You Sad?.
